Lock case with an automatically deadlocking latchbolt.
The deadlocking is controlled by a snib in the forend.

Snib position:
UP = Deadlocking, latchbolt protrudes 21 mm. The lock can be opened only with a key or a thumbturn.
DOWN = Latchbolt protrudes 14 mm. The lock can also be opened with the lever handles.

Suitable for use with ABLOY CY001, CY013, CY002, CY040, CY062 cylinders.
Each cylinder is available with ABLOY cylinder mechanisms: ABLOY® CLASSIC, ABLOY® NOVEL or ABLOY® PROTEC.

Finish: chrome.
Fire resistance: Yes.

The LC190 comes complete with the 4690 (for flush doors) or 4691 (for rebated doors) striker plate.
